Hennock Consulting have been awarded the contracts for design and build of the NPPC and Fresh World International facilities in Lebanon, Jordan and Morocco. Facilities will allow produce grown by the NPPC and contract growers to be packed and market across the world. The packing facilities will be allied to protected cropping structures and facilities, also to be designed by Hennock Consulting. NPPC aims to become the primary supplier of fresh produce to and from the Middle East and North Africa.
Hennock Consulting, working with Guy and Wright have developed and installed a bio gas unit, generating heat, and electricity from organic waste. The gas is burned through the mico turbine combined heat and power units at Guy and Wright, which generate 'green' electricity for the grid and heat for the tomato production houses on site. Even the waste carbon dioxide is utiised in the system, being pumped into the green houses to enhance the tomato production
